What do you enjoy most about your job?

I enjoy the people I work with as  they are like family. I especially enjoy when we have a new product come through. I enjoy seeing and helping get it started.  It is enjoyable even though it is a lot of work.

Tell us about any mentors you’ve enjoyed working with over the years.

When Tony Strawn was production manager I learned a lot from him. My current boss, Mike Gray, has been one of the best bosses I could hope for as he is supportive of his team. I have learned a lot from him and plan to continue learning everyday.

Tell us about your family.

Married for 21 years to David Storm and we have 3 kids (which have all worked at GPI at some point, one still here) and we have 5 grandkids.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Spend as much time as possible with the grandkids and their activities. They all live within 5 miles of us so it is pretty easy. I also enjoy camping and fishing.

Our Iceberg is Melting (for work)

Who is the person you’d most like to meet?

My Grandma Shaver that passed away when I was 5. I am named after her.

What’s your favorite restaurant and why?

Johnny Carino’s. Anytime we are in Tulsa or somewhere they have one, it is where we eat. I love their Timballo.

What’s your favorite vacation destination/activity?

My dream vacation is to go to Australia. I enjoyed going to Cancun 10 years ago. It was my first time out of the US and the trip was a surprise planned entirely by my husband. Since then my husband takes me somewhere every year for our anniversary.
