Job Title: Engineering Drafter

Job Title: Engineering Drafter

Reports to: Engineering Manager

Shift: Part Time

Job Summary:

Part time position to perform engineering drafter tasks including creating, revising, and releasing engineering drawings and documents per instructions from Engineers. Position requires mechanical aptitude and drafting experience. Qualifies for WSU Engineering Co-op program.

Job duties:

  • Create and modify engineering drawings and documents
  • Release engineering drawings and documents

Candidate Requirements:

  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Drafting experience using Autodesk software
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with others
  • Successful pre-employment drug screen

Desired Capabilities:

  • Experience with Autodesk Inventor software
  • Experience with writing aircraft Component Maintenance Manuals or similar technical document writing
  • Experience with FEA software and analysis
  • Experience with CFD software and analysis

Job Title: Quality Assurance Inspector

Job Title: Part Time Quality Assurance Inspector

Reports to: Quality Assurance Manager

Shift: Part Time

Job Summary:

Part time entry level position to assist with receiving, in-process, and final inspection tasks associated with manufacturing, assembly, and testing of pneumatic control valves. Position requires hands-on inspection and testing of manufactured products to verify compliance to engineering requirements. Document and review quality records in accordance with Quality Management System procedures and to maintain traceability in accordance with aerospace industry standards. Qualifies for WSU COE Co-op program.

Job duties:

  • Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspection tasks
  • Ensure compliance with quality procedures, control plans and quality management system requirements.
  • Document inspection results, review and approve material and special process certifications, and maintain quality traceability information.
  • Generate First Article Inspection Reports.

Candidate Requirements:

  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)
  • Experience with Engineering drawings or blueprints
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access)
  • Appropriate mathematical and analytical skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with others

Preferred Candidates:

  • Previous work experience in machining or manufacturing industry
  • Knowledge of ISO9001 & AS9100, as well as AS9102
  • Proficient use of precision measuring devices (micrometers, calipers, etc.)

Position may be filled based upon a temp-to-permanent basis through a temporary agency. Possibility will be discussed with candidates during the interview process.

Job Title: Assembly Lead

Job Title: Assembly Lead

Reports to: Production Manager

 Shift: First Shift: 6am – 430pm M-Th

Job Summary: Experience leading a team of individuals to meet production and quality goals

Job duties:

  • Supervise a Team of Assemblers for a specific product line.
  • Support the use of Lean Manufacturing tools on assigned production line.
  • Meet all production requirements to maintain schedule to customer demand.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Prior supervisory experience (2 – 3 years) in a similar production environment.
  • ERP/MRP Experience
  • Prior experience in Lean Manufacturing.

Preferred Candidates:

  • 1 – 2 years Syteline (MRP) experience
  • Experience in an assembly environment Industry specific information

Job Title: CNC Machinist

Reports to: Machine Shop Manager

 Shift: 2nd: Monday – Thursday   4:30 pm-3:00 am

Job Summary:

Produces machined parts by, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.

Job duties:

  • Experience with mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference  points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs
  • Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
  • Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Must have 2 years minimum applicable experience with precision machining.

Preferred Candidates:

  • 5 years minimum machining experience.
  • Have own tools (micrometer, calipers, edge finder, dial indicator etc.)

Job Title: Inside Sales Administrator

Reports to: Inside Sales Manager

Shift: 1st Shift

Job Summary:

Administration of the order processing of the inside sales department. Work with team members to provide a high level of service to GPI’s distribution network and direct customers.

Job duties: (limit to 4 – 5 key duties):

  • Order entry of job orders receive through various methods.
  • Provide clear shipping arrangements.
  • Provide excellent customer service when customer and distributors call with questions.
  • Provide inventory status for distributors.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Ability to provide a high level of customer service even in stressful situations.
  • ERP Experience – Syteline preferred
  • Clear understanding of shipping requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High attention to detail

Preferred Candidates:

  • 1 – 2 years Syteline experience
  • Prior job experience in Shipping, customer service or order entry.
  • Prior experience working with customers on the phone.
