Job Summary:

ASC designs, builds, and test pneumatic valves that control various systems on an aircraft. This posting is for an hourly, full-time position in ASC’s Production assembly area.

Job duties:

  • Perform analysis to trouble-shoot problems
  • Setup and run tests for functional acceptance

Candidate Requirements:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude

Shift: Part Time

Job Summary:

Part time entry level position to assist with receiving, in-process, and final inspection tasks associated with manufacturing, assembly, and testing of pneumatic control valves. Position requires hands-on inspection and testing of manufactured products to verify compliance to engineering requirements. Document and review quality records in accordance with Quality Management System procedures and to maintain traceability in accordance with aerospace industry standards. Qualifies for WSU COE Co-op program.

Job duties:

  • Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspection tasks
  • Ensure compliance with quality procedures, control plans and quality management system requirements.
  • Document inspection results, review and approve material and special process certifications, and maintain quality traceability information.
  • Generate First Article Inspection Reports

Candidate Requirements:

  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)
  • Experience with Engineering drawings or blueprints
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access)
  • Appropriate mathematical and analytical skills and mechanical aptitude

Job Title: Marketing Content Developer

Reports to: Creative Services Manager

Job Summary:

As part of a team, this position will manage the in house and out of house development of print and digital media content for GPI. This position will directly support the strategic efforts of the product development and sales teams.  They will also organize and help execute domestic tradeshows.

Job duties: (limit to 4 – 5 key duties):

  • This position will help select, develop and maintain a central repository for all GPI content and be accountable for updates and format revisions as needed.
  • Communicate with stakeholders on project progress when developing content for various products.
  • Work directly with product development teams to meet demands of new product launch.
  • Provide content expertise by working directly with outside vendors, internal graphic design and web developer and internal sales team.
  • Provide content support to product distribution teams.

Candidate Requirements:

  • BS Degree in Marketing
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in marketing content development.
  • Prior print media, copy writing, web site content development, product video and photography experience essential to this position.
  • A strategic approach to content development to meet the demands of a growing company.
  • Highly organized and dynamic individual who is able to work independently to meet project commitments.
  • Must understand internet sales requirements to support the efforts of the Sales team.
  • Strong experience with MS Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Prior work experience with videography and photography.
  • Prior marketing project management experience for new product launch.

Job Title:  Injection Molding Supervisor

Job Title: Injection Molding Supervisor

Reports to: Production Manager

 Shift: 1st shift 6 am to 4:30 pm Monday-Thursday

Job Summary:

Seeking a motivated, knowledgeable injection molding leader. This position will work directly with the Production Manager on all aspects of leading the Injection Molding department and provide subject matter expertise on all aspects of the injection molding process. Must be highly dependable and experienced with today’s engineering resins.  Technical processing and troubleshooting on injection molding machines.  Must be able to ready engineering prints and gauge finished parts.

Job duties:

  • Coordinate mold changes as well as core, cavity, core pin, ejector pin and insert changes in molds. Manager may need to do at all times.
  • Coordinate dryer, hoppers and granulators cleaning and material handling.
  • Work with production scheduling and have ownership of final projection schedule for the department.
  • Order all supplies needed for molding department.
  • Responsible for startup and shut downs of all equipment.
  • Perform test sampling of new or revised molds and new materials as needed.
  • Coordinate mold repairs.
  • Perform or coordinate mold maintenance.
  • Develop employees within the department and perform annual reviews.
  • Learn and practice 6S Lean manufacturing.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 3 – 5 years Prior experience as a supervisor or leader in Injection Molding.
  • Subject matter expert in Injection Molding and knowledge of current technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills to work with various department within GPI.
  • Prior experience scheduling injection molding jobs with efficiency.
  • Can lift up to 50lbs.
  • Have problem-solving ability.

Job Title: CNC Machinist

Reports to: Machine Shop Manager

 Shift: 2nd: Monday – Thursday   4:30 pm-3:00 am

Job Summary:

Produces machined parts by, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.

Job duties:

  • Experience with mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference  points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs
  • Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
  • Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Must have 2 years minimum applicable experience with precision machining.

Preferred Candidates:

  • 5 years minimum machining experience.
  • Have own tools (micrometer, calipers, edge finder, dial indicator etc.)
